JWB

Hi, I was wondering why you copied JWB from Wikipedia to here. Afaik, the script works on both Wikipedia and Wikia, thus it's completely unnecessary to have it here. cqm 08:17, 16 Mar 2017 (UTC)

The reason I did this was to make it easier to install and make it more known and (hopefully) more used. Also, thanks to Mix Gerder, the script can now be in more languages than before. Christian Sirolli ^{(Talk | Contribs)} 13:55, March 16, 2017 (UTC)

Those are both good points, but what it also means is the script is unmaintained from the start. Any fixes to the upstream version are not made here. The reverse is also true: no one from wikipedia will ever benefit from any translations added here. I would strongly recommend liaising with the script's author for any additions you think should be made, and directing users to import the script from wikipedia.

As an additional point, why have you listed yourself as an author of the script? It looks entirely copied from Joey's original source without modifications. Simply copying and pasting half a dozen pages doesn't make an author. cqm 20:56, 16 Mar 2017 (UTC)
