WikiaSearch

Hi!

The script is really great, but I think if is possible to enable the script to be used on the WikiaSearch. If you watch, it only shows the Wikia's minicomplete after you put three letters.

The three character input before showing any results is intentional and something found on the current linksuggest used by wikia - it's actually a side-effect of using jquery.autocomplete in wikia's version but it seemed like a sensible precedent to follow. For example if we looked at a large wiki, a single letter is unlikely to be particularly helpful in finding the correct page, e.g. A on Wookieepedia albeit without the redirects.

I'm a little confused by the WikiaSearch comment though - are you trying to use this as search suggestions for wikia's search? cqm 08:52, 23 Jul 2014 (UTC)

A gadget?

In your to do list you say:
Allow users to turn this script on and off at their preference, as users can turn the normal editor autocomplete on and off in Special:Preferences.

That to-do is a little outdated. Since the functionality was added to the existing suggestions wikia provides, you can indeed turn off suggestions using preferences. cqm 06:36, 5 Jul 2017 (UTC)

Property Error

Hi,

Sometimes, on the file import form in French Naruto Wiki, I get the error "TypeError: can't access property "page", dev.colors.wikia is undefined" and the script does not work, the link suggestion does not appear anymore.

Could someone fix this issue?
