FullscreenArticle is a lightweight JavaScript snippet which adds a distraction-free fullscreen reading mode to wiki pages. Pressing F hides sidebars, rails, and other interface elements, allowing the article content to expand to the full width of the screen.
Installation
Usage
Once installed, press F anywhere on a page to toggle fullscreen mode on or off.
Fullscreen mode hides the following interface elements:
- Right rail content
- Side tools
- Global navigation
- Community header
- Extra page margins
Notes
- The shortcut does not activate while typing inside an
<input>or<textarea>. - Fullscreen mode is temporary and resets on page reload.
- The script only changes the page layout visually — it does not modify page content.
Examples
Press F on your keyboard to toggle fullscreen mode.
