Possible, yes. But I don't see why that would be useful as an anti-vandalism tool beyond the existing quick-bot fuction. cqm 23:31, 30 Jun 2014 (UTC)

Quick bot won't do an awful lot for the vast majority of users, it's designed to add a bot flag to users so they can quietly clear up vandalism without disrupting recent changes. It's used for mass rollbacks and the like. As such a tool can only be used consistently by staff, helpers and vstf it's allegedly disabled in the version of the script here although I've never tested it myself to be sure of that.

Hacked accounts are an extremely rare occurrence in my experience and to be honest it's so rare I'm not convinced it's worth it especially considering it's only useful for many users on one or two wikis (assuming they have bureaucrat rights). I can't imagine it's going to be anything more than a redundant tool that's only used once every few years. As an example, the last time an admin when on a vandalism spree on my home wiki was 2009 iirc and to put that in perspective, there's around 90 of us at the moment with the majority of them being inactive for a number of years. The only case of a hacked account I can remember was when another similar site was hacked and an admin on the wiki used the same password for both sites. That's once in almost 10 years.

This seems more like a request for a convenience method of editing user rights through ajax rather than anything anti-vandalism based which is a little outside the script's scope imo.

Okay but would it be possible to create another code separated of the WHAM but that would let us change the right of someone easly ? Oh and, mabye being able to edit someone in the chat to a higher rank than modo. but mabye to admin {{SUBST:User:Emperor Jarjarkine/Sig3}} 01:05, July 2, 2014 (UTC)
